The hand has four fingers, with the first finger slightly reduced in length. The toe tips lack clearly enlarged discs, but in some specimens they are very slightly enlarged and distally pointed, forming a teardrop shape. The dorsum is often not completely smooth but slightly granular, especially in life. It has been observed in leaf litter in forested areas and plantations. It has genetically confirmed records from Nosy Be, Nosy Sakatia, Benavony and Maromiandra, northwestern Madagascar.
