The body is elongated, with large tubercles that may be cone-shaped or have flattened, mushroom-like tops. The gill forms a semicircle at the rear of the back; the body is usually mottled white and may have brown spots. One specimen was found on cyanobacteria growing over coral rubble and patches of sand.
