The Hispaniolan Palm Crow is a small, all-black crow found on Hispaniola. It eats fruit and invertebrates and often comes down to the ground to feed.
The plumage is all black, with a purple-blue sheen when fresh. It is comparatively small among crows.
It is omnivorous, taking fruit and invertebrates, and often descends to the ground to feed. Pine forest appears to hold the greatest numbers, but it also uses dry scrub, lowland swamp forest, and wooded ravines.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
