A topi recorded from southwestern Uganda into eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. It has contrasting patches on the body and legs and feeds almost entirely on grass.
The body is maroon with an ashy sheen, gray patches mark the shoulders and haunches, and the face has a black-blue blaze. The lower legs are deep cinnamon.
It is recorded in edaphic grassland and rolling uplands. Its diet consists almost entirely of grass, and it avoids very short grass.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
