This shrimp is known from the Solomon Islands.
In the examined females, the rostrum is short and straight or curves downwards.
It favours flowing, well-oxygenated fresh water from lower to upper river courses.
In the examined females, the second leg is longer and more slender than the first.
In the examined females, the back edge of the telson is rounded with a central projection.
