A mostly green parrot with black, spatula-shaped tips on its tail feathers. It uses lowland forest and forest edges in the northern Philippines.
The head and underparts are yellow-green, the bill is pale grey, and the elongated central tail feathers end in black spatula-shaped tips.
It uses the canopy and edges of lowland primary forest and eats fruit. The account also records visits to bananas, rice, and corn.
