The Dusky Woodswallow is a grey-brown bird with a white patch on the outer wing. Flocks of about 10–30 birds gather to roost together.
It is smoky dark brown to grey, with dark blue-grey wings edged in white and a black tail with a broad white tip.
It lives in open forests and woodlands, catching insects in the air, from foliage, and on the ground; it also takes nectar. Pairs nest in loose neighbourhoods and raise their young in nests placed in trees, hollows, or other sheltered sites.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
