Known from Essotah in Cameroon, females of this spider often have a darker area just above the mouth than males.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate is ochre-yellow with a brown rear mark and brown lateral margins. The underside front-body plate is dark brown.
At Essotah, large webs were found under and among huge rocks in well-preserved forest.
When disturbed, the observed spiders ran swiftly to the rock wall and became barely visible among the mosses.
Its abdomen is ochre-gray with distinct black patterns above, on the sides, and below. The femur and tibia tips are whitish, with dark rings near their ends and around the patellae.
In females, the area just above the mouth is often darker and its hairs shorter than in males. The pale median line on the rear underside of the abdomen varies in distinctness.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
