The pool calls this species the White-throated Robin. Audubon’s species page uses White-throated Thrush and notes that White-throated Robin was its former name.
It is about 24 cm long, with a dark olive-brown head and back, an almost black face, dull gray-brown underparts, and a conspicuous white band across the lower throat.
It is a shy thrush of tropical mountain forests. Exceptionally severe winter weather may drive individuals to lowlands; single birds have rarely been found in extreme southern Texas.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
