The Polynesian Starling is a starling found widely across South Pacific islands. In Niue, it moves in family-like groups and searches branches and trunks for insects and fruit.
It has a short, stout bill and mainly brown plumage. The upperparts are dark brown with a grey-buff wing streak, while the buff-to-brown underparts have pale streaking.
In Niue it occurs in many vegetated places, including regrowing bush gardens, mature-forest edges, and coconut plantations. It moves in family groups and searches holes and crevices in branches and trunks for insects, spiders, small lizards, and fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
