This millipede is known from Carter Caves State Park, Carter County, Kentucky, USA.
The described males had a light-grey background, probably because they had recently moulted.
The collected individuals were found emerging from hardpacked soil at a creek edge, surrounded by hardwood forest and rhododendron thickets.
The described males have light-orange spots on the side extensions of their body segments.
In the described males, the plate immediately behind the head is smooth with an orange margin.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
