This millipede has been recorded from southern Thailand.
Live individuals described in the 2011 revision have blackish-brown bodies, with contrasting yellow lateral extensions of the body rings and tail ends. Much of the rear dorsal plates of the body rings is light grey-brown.
On 12 October 1991, the male holotype was collected in forest below 200 m at Ton Sai Waterfall, Phuket Province, Thailand.
In the material treated in that revision, the first dorsal plate behind the head is either entirely pale or has an oblong, dark transverse spot in its front third.
In the males examined in that revision, the tip of the solenophore, part of the gonopod, appears narrowly rounded or sharply tooth-like depending on the viewing angle.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
