The Simple Greenbul is marked by its white throat and two white crescents around the eye. In Upper Guinea it is found in regrowth and thickets.
Its throat is conspicuously white, and a white crescent above and another below the eye form a broken eye-ring.
The account says it is usually seen in pairs in the tops of dense thickets or the canopy of low trees, where it gives nasal chatter and scolding calls.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
