The small Luzon carpomys is a small rodent known from the mountains of northern Luzon in the Philippines. It has short rounded ears and broad hind feet, and survey records are sparse.
Its ears are short and rounded, and its hind feet are short and broad. Brown hairs cover the tail and grow only slightly longer toward the tip.
The northern Luzon survey captured only one female. It was caught in a ground-level earthworm-baited trap during the nocturnal-crepuscular period, and the survey table classified its diet as granivorous from stomach contents. One record is not enough to establish typical behavior or diet.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
