The northwestern marsupial mole is a burrowing marsupial of desert areas in Western Australia.
It has a long, tube-shaped body covered in pale cream fur. Its eyes are small, it has no external ears, and its forefeet have digging claws.
It moves through sand underground and eats insects and other subterranean invertebrates. Field observations are rare.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
