The allied rock-wallaby lives on rocky terrain in northern Queensland, Australia. It forages at night and shelters under rocks during the day.
It has large hindfeet and hindlegs with smaller forepaws. The body is usually gray-brown, the underside and limbs are lighter, the feet are darker, and the tail darkens toward its brush tip.
It uses rock overhangs as daytime shelters and forages at night. Its home range may expand in the dry season, presumably while it searches for food.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
