The Cameroon Leaf-nosed Bat is larger than the other recognized Doryrhina species and has gray-frosted fur and large pointed ears. Records come from Mount Cameroon and forests in eastern and East Africa.
The two Doryrhina species share woolly, glossy fur with gray frosting and large pointed ears. D. camerunensis is the larger species, and females are larger than males.
Doryrhina bats depend on forests from lowlands to mountains and roost in tree hollows. They may roost in pairs or small groups and feed on large insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
