The Montserrat Oriole is endemic to the Caribbean island of Montserrat and breeds in its hill forests.
The male is black with golden yellow on the lower breast and rump. The female is smaller and more olive-yellow.
The female weaves a hanging basket nest beneath a broad horizontal leaf. In the study, 83% of nests were attached to Heliconia leaves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
