The Halmahera blossom bat is a fruit bat described from Halmahera. The available life-history detail here is limited to the capture of its single type specimen.
The type specimen had Verona-brown dorsal fur, darker on the head and nape, grayer underparts with silvery hair tips, and black wing membranes.
In 1983, one bat was mist-netted between 6 and 9 p.m. beside a stream in undisturbed primary forest. This is a single local capture record, not a complete activity schedule.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
