This lorikeet lives in eucalypt woodland in southeastern Australia. Red facial markings and a blue crown stand out against its green body.
Most of the body is green, with a red facial band, blue crown, yellow breast patch and golden areas on the tail. The account says females have less blue on the crown than males.
It takes nectar and pollen from flowering eucalypts, using a brush-tipped tongue to collect them. It may feed in flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
