The Pink-necked Green Pigeon eats fruits and buds from mature trees. In Singapore it is found in both wooded and urban areas.
Males have a grey face and throat, a pale purple neck and breast, an orange lower breast, a light green belly, and dark green upperparts. Females are uniformly green; both sexes have yellow wing-bars.
It perches high in trees and comes lower to feed on small fruits along roads. Groups may gather at fig trees when the figs ripen.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
