The Dryas monkey is a forest-dwelling primate known only from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Surveys in the Lomami region recorded it in areas that included dense understory and forest edges.
Juveniles and adults have different pelage. Adult males have been reported to show bluish skin around the scrotum and a red patch beneath the base of the tail.
Camera-trap surveys recorded the monkeys in dense forest understory and at forest edges. These are observations from limited survey sites, not a complete account of habitat use across the range.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
