The Cape Crow is a glossy black crow. It usually lives as a territorial pair and searches the ground for food in grasslands and dry savannas.
Both sexes are glossy black over the whole body, including the bill and legs. Juveniles are duller and more brownish black.
It usually lives in a territorial pair but may sometimes gather in a large group. It walks on the ground and searches among grass and low plants for insects, fruit, and seeds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
