This flat-headed shrew was documented from Ethiopia. Its range should be treated cautiously because the account is based on few specimens.
The specimens described have short dark-brown fur, a narrow gray stripe on the belly, and dark limbs and tail.
The paper places it among West/East African savanna elements. It does not establish a species-specific diet or activity schedule.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
