This small bat has fur over its body and roosts in caves in groups. It occurs in Cuba and Jamaica.
The body is furred, while the wing membranes are hairless. Fur color ranges from grayish brown to yellowish brown, and some individuals are orange brown.
Stomach contents examined in Cuba contained insects only, and colonies of several thousand bats have been recorded in Cuban caves.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
