Bolivian records place the Flavescent Warbler in dry to semi-humid woodland and gallery forest. Its yellow underside and olive upperparts are useful field marks.
It is about 12–12.5 cm long, with bright yellow underparts, olive upperparts, and a short yellow supercilium.
It occurs alone or in pairs in the understory, sometimes with mixed flocks, and forages actively on or near the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
