This spider is known from Poland to Iran and the Omsk region of Russia.
In the male described from Novocherkassk, Russia, the upper front-body plate is ochre-yellow, with a central brown mark widening toward the rear.
In December 1993, two males and four females were collected in a basement in Moscow. In December 1995, a female was collected indoors in Omsk.
In 2007, males and females were also collected at a university in Rzeszow, Poland, and in hospitals in Ukraine.
In that male, the underside front-body plate and legs are unpatterned ochre-yellow, and the abdomen is unpatterned ochre-gray.
Some males have a light-brown sternum beneath the front body, with small pale spots near its front and near the leg bases.
Females are very similar to males, but the eye region is lower and the eye groups are closer together.
Some males have darkened proximal parts of the femora or dark-brown chelicerae.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
