Tyler’s mouse opossum is a small marsupial known from the highlands of southern Venezuela. It is recorded at four localities and is thought to live in montane rainforest based on specimen elevations.
It is a small, pouchless marsupial with large ears, dark fur around the eyes, and a long, slender prehensile tail.
This species’ behavior has not been recorded in the account. Nocturnal and tree-climbing habits reported for other Marmosa are not established for this species.
