In males, the ocular area is slightly raised. Males have a deep thoracic pit and paired shallow furrows diverging towards the rear margin. The sternum in males is wider than long. At Setti-Fatma it was abundant beneath rocks, and juveniles had distinctly domed sheet webs. When disturbed, spiders usually ran away and dropped to the ground rather than vibrating. It occurs in the High Atlas, Morocco, with records at elevations of 1,300–2,035 metres.
