Known from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, females of this spider have a projecting middle part of the anterior genital-plate rim.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate is ochre-yellow with a brown triangular rear mark and brown lateral margins. The area just behind the eyes is whitish.
On 20 September 2007, one female was collected in primary rainforest in Luki Forest Reserve.
Its legs are ochre-yellow with slightly darker rings near the ends of the femora and tibiae and around the patellae. The femur and tibia tips are whitish.
Its abdomen is ochre-gray with distinct black patterns above, on the sides, and below. Examined females are generally similar to the male.
The female anterior genital plate has a distinctly projecting rim at the middle.
