The Orange Ground Thrush lives in mountain forests of eastern and southeastern Africa. Its orange face and chest contrast with a white belly, and it searches for small animals and fruit in the lower forest.
The lores, throat, chest, and flanks are orange, while the belly and vent are white. It has two white wing-bars and a narrow white eye-ring crossed by a faint dark line.
It uses the lower levels of humid mountain forest and eats insects, snails, worms, small amphibians, and some fruits and berries.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
