This small bird has greenish-olive upperparts, a yellow throat, and orange legs. In Amazonian riverine forest, it searches foliage for food in pairs or small groups.
The upperparts are greenish olive, the throat yellow, and the legs orange. The forehead ranges from yellow to orange; in a 2019 field record, a bird thought to be male had a more saturated orange forehead and brighter orange legs.
In Amazonian riverine forest, it forages from the midstorey to canopy, often in pairs or small groups with mixed-species flocks. It gleans arthropods from foliage and may cling beneath leaves while feeding.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
