The Anatolian Vole is known from a very small area in central Turkey. It digs in dry, open ground and also makes runways above ground.
It is chunky, with ears extending above the fur. The back is pale grayish buff, the underside whitish, and the tail much shorter than the head and body.
It is active throughout the day and digs burrows with large entrances. Ground runways connect the entrances, and small colonies live in areas under 20 m across. Its food is unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
