The Grasshopper Buzzard is a raptor of open Sahel country that feeds heavily on insects, especially grasshoppers.
Adults have a rufous-brown body and pale head, with dark areas on the wings that show in flight.
It feeds mainly on insects such as grasshoppers and searches for prey in open places such as savannas and farmland.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
