The Thailand horseshoe bat is confirmed from northern Thailand, with records from other parts of Thailand and southern Cambodia also assigned to it. Recent comparisons leave uncertainty about its boundary with related species and about a record from southern Vietnam.
Head and body length is about 6.3–7.2 cm. It has large ears and a broad noseleaf that covers the muzzle. The dorsal fur ranges from buffy to deep brown; the underside is lighter and grayer.
It roosts in caves and inhabits tropical forest. In an analysis of 31 fecal pellets, beetles and true bugs made up most of the recorded diet. Much of its breeding biology remains unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
