The white-striped dorcopsis is a macropod marsupial of lowland forests in northern New Guinea. A pale stripe on the back is a distinguishing feature.
Its coat is brown and varies among individuals; a pale dorsal stripe is described.
It rests in dense vegetation. Fungal spores were found in the digestive tracts of two adults collected in New Guinea in May 1987. The researchers reported that much of the fungal material appeared to come from above-ground, mushroom-like fungi.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
