Dollman's Sulawesi maxomys is a rodent recorded in Sulawesi's forests. HMW describes it as mainly terrestrial at night, while also climbing at times.
Its back is dark orangish brown, while the underside is gray with white-frosted hairs. The tail is long and sparsely haired, with a paler underside and distal part.
It is recorded in lowland to montane rainforest. HMW considers fruits, arthropods, snails, earthworms, and small vertebrates probable foods.
