The Gansu pika is a pika of the Chinese mountains. It grazes among alpine shrubs and meadows and resembles the Moupin pika.
It resembles the Moupin pika and can be confused with it in the field. A study cited by ADW distinguishes them by cheek-arch width, which is narrower in the Gansu pika.
It is active by day and eats grasses and other herbaceous plants in its native habitat. The account says it watches for danger and gives sharp warning calls.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
