The flat-headed myotis is a small bat from the mountains of north-central Mexico. It is known to eat insects, but detailed information about its life remains limited.
It is a small brown bat with silky, shiny fur that is dark at the base and lighter at the tips. Its face and ears are lighter than those of two co-occurring Myotis species.
It is considered montane and insectivorous, but the details of its diet are unknown. A flattened skull has been proposed as an adaptation for living in crevices, although this idea remains untested.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
