This spider is known from rainforest in the Illawarra region of Australia.
The described male has a dark reddish-brown cephalothorax and tan-brown legs with darker rings.
It has been found in rainforest in Macquarie Pass National Park on the Illawarra Escarpment of southeastern New South Wales.
His abdomen is mottled grey-brown and beige, with dark reddish-brown hardened plates on the back.
His carapace is tall, with two pairs of rudimentary horns.
The back of his abdomen has three pairs of humps.
