The lemuroid ringtail possum is a marsupial of northeastern Queensland's rainforests. Its dark brown coat and pale rings around the eyes are easy to notice.
Its coat is rich chocolate brown with paler gray-brown underparts and a light ring around each eye. The long tail is bushy along its full length.
It rests in tree hollows during the day, then emerges at night to feed on leaves, flowers, and fruit in the canopy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
