The Cauca climbing mouse is a small rodent known from the Andes of western Colombia. It has been collected in high-elevation cloud forest.
Its back is bright orange-brown. Cream or pale orange tips cover gray-based belly hairs, and its tail is longer than its body; the ears are dark.
Specimens were collected at 1,830–3,500 m, elevations the account generally associates with cloud forest.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
