The dorsal fur ranges from pale to dark brown. White stripes run across the face and along the middle of the back, although some examined specimens lacked one or both patterns.
It has been recorded in humid tropical and montane forests. The paper documents Ficus fruit in the diet of specimens from Colombia.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
