This small wallaby has orange rings around its dark eyes. In the dry grasslands of Australia, it hides in tall grass by day and feeds on plants at night.
ADW's general description gives gray-brown fur with golden tips and orange rings around the dark eyes. It does not describe appearance separately for each subspecies.
It is nocturnal and rests by day in tall grass tussocks, including spinifex. These shelters help protect it from heat and predators in its Australian habitats.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
