This millipede has been recorded from Thailand and Malaysia.
Live individuals described in the 2011 revision have dark chestnut-brown bodies, with contrasting pale-yellow lateral extensions of the body rings and the tip of the tail.
On 13 October 1991, the male holotype was collected in lowland tropical rainforest below 200 m, 10 km north of Krabi, Thailand.
In the males examined in that revision, the legs near the middle of the body are about 1.1–1.3 times as long as the body is high.
In this male material, the base of the lateral plate of the gonopod has a small but conspicuous knob on its underside.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
