Setzer's mouse-tailed dormouse is a small dormouse with long, soft fur. Records are scarce, and little is known about its life in the wild.
Its back is wood-brown, the flanks are paler, and the belly and cheeks are grayish white. The fur is long and dense, and the tail is relatively short.
At one site in northeastern Turkey, three specimens were found beneath the same large stone in sparse old-pine woodland with grass. Its wild habits remain largely unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
