Mills's Angola bird guide treats this taxon as the Angola White-throated Greenbul and places its main range on the northern Angolan escarpment. The pool's scientific and English names are retained while the source's terminology is recorded.
It is about 17–18 cm long, with a greenish-grey head, pale eye, whitish throat, yellow-tinged underparts and olive-brown wings and tail. The sexes are alike.
It occurs singly or in pairs in tropical forest and gives nasal scolding calls. The guide considers an insect diet probable but reports no confirmed food or breeding records from Angola.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
