The Cozumel raccoon is a small raccoon restricted to Cozumel Island, Mexico. It is mostly nocturnal and eats many crabs.
Its grayish coat has dark eye masks bordered by white fur, and its tail has dark rings.
It is mostly active at night. At three sites on Cozumel in 2001–2003, crabs made up more than half of the diet, followed by fruit and insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
