The Yellow-streaked Warbler breeds in China and moves from southwestern China to northern Indochina for the nonbreeding season. In Hong Kong it is recorded on passage and in winter.
It is about 12.5–13.5 cm long. It has an eyebrow stripe and pale coloring from the throat onto the breast.
It moves between breeding and nonbreeding areas. The Hong Kong account reports it in open places with bushes or reedbeds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
