The Chamba Sacred Langur is a monkey with a silvery-gray back, a pale chest, and a long tail. It lives in forests and alpine scrub of the western Himalayas and feeds mainly on leaves.
Silvery-gray fur covers its back and limbs, while its chest and belly are pale. White hair frames its black face, and the long tail ends in a white, brush-like tip.
Leaves make up much of its diet, with fruits, flowers, and bark also used as seasons change. It adjusts its food to the demanding seasons of the western Himalayas.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
